Window replacement and installation in Petoskey and Northern Michigan

Replacement windows and new window installs, trimmed out and finished.

Windows have been a big part of our work lately, from swapping out old windows in homes people live in to setting every window in a new build.

TNT Construction has been building and remodeling homes in Northern Michigan since 1994. We are licensed and insured, and we install windows throughout the Greater Petoskey Area, including Petoskey, Boyne City, and Harbor Springs.

New window installed and trimmed out

Replacement windows start with a walk-through. We look at each opening, the trim, and what is around it, then put the scope and cost in writing before any work starts.

On new construction and additions, the windows go in as part of the build. We plan them in sequence with framing, house wrap, and siding so the outside of the house comes together in the right order.

A window is only as good as the finish around it. We trim out the openings inside and out, and because we also do siding and painting, we can finish the work around the new windows instead of leaving it for another contractor.

We schedule exterior window work around the Northern Michigan seasons, the same way we plan siding and paint.

Inside, we protect your floors and furniture near the work and clean up as we go, so each room comes back into use as soon as its windows are done.

Questions

Windows FAQs

Common questions about windows with TNT Construction in the Greater Petoskey Area.

  • Do you replace windows in existing homes?

Yes. We replace windows in homes around Petoskey, Boyne City, Harbor Springs, and nearby. We start with a walk-through to look at each opening, the trim, and what is around it, then put the scope and cost in writing before any work starts.

  • Do you install windows on new construction and additions?

Yes. On new builds and additions the windows go in as part of the job. As a full-service general contractor we plan them in sequence with framing, house wrap, and siding so the exterior comes together in the right order.

  • What happens during a window replacement?

First we walk the house with you and settle which windows are being replaced. Then we put the scope, cost, and schedule in writing. On the job we protect the floors and furniture near the work, take out the old window, set the new one, and trim it out inside and out. Where the siding or paint around the opening needs work, we take care of that too, and we clean up before we call it done.

  • Can you handle the trim, siding, and paint around new windows?

Yes. We do siding and interior and exterior painting as well as windows, so the trim, siding, and paint around the new windows can be part of the same job with one team to talk to.

  • How do I get a quote for windows?

Every house is different, so a person from TNT Construction looks at your windows and puts the scope and cost in writing for you. Call (231) 347-7299 or (231) 330-1786, email tnt.construction@ymail.com, or send the details through the quote form on this page. We are open Monday to Friday 8 am to 6 pm and Saturday 8 am to 2 pm.
