We install new siding, replace worn or damaged siding, and fix rot and damaged areas before the new siding goes on. We also handle the trim, soffit, and windows around it, so the outside of the house gets finished as one job.
TNT Construction has been building and remodeling homes in Northern Michigan since 1994. We are licensed and insured, and we do siding work throughout the Greater Petoskey Area, including Petoskey, Boyne City, and Harbor Springs.
Every siding job starts with a walk-through. We look at the siding, the trim, and what we can see underneath, then put the scope and cost in writing before any work starts.
On a re-side, we tear off the old material and put up a weather barrier before the new siding goes on. Where we find rot, we fix it first so the new siding is not covering a problem.
On new construction and additions, siding goes on as part of the build. We plan it in sequence with framing, house wrap, and windows so the exterior comes together in the right order.
Siding work often goes hand in hand with new windows, trim, and paint. We do all of those, so you have one local contractor managing the whole exterior instead of lining up separate crews.
We schedule exterior work around the Northern Michigan seasons and keep the site tidy while the work is going on. When the weather turns too rough for scaffolding, we can move to interior work on the same project instead of letting it sit.

Should I repair my siding or replace it?
It depends on how much is damaged and what is underneath. At the walk-through we look at the siding, the trim, and any rot we can find, then tell you straight whether it makes sense to fix the damaged areas or re-side the house. Either way, the scope and cost go in writing before any work starts.
What happens during a siding job?
First we walk the house with you and settle the scope. Then we put the scope, cost, and schedule in writing. On a re-side we tear off the old material, fix any rot we find, and put up a weather barrier before the new siding goes on. Then come the trim and soffit, and paint where the job calls for it. We clean up before we call it done.
Can you match my existing siding?
We look at what is on the house now during the walk-through and talk through the options with you. Sometimes fixing a damaged area with matching siding makes sense, and sometimes re-siding a full wall or the whole house gives a better result. We put the plan in writing so you know what you are getting.
Do you handle the trim, windows, and paint around new siding?
Yes. We do windows, trim, soffit, and interior and exterior painting as well as siding, so the work around the new siding can be part of the same job with one team to talk to.
